  1. Affluent market - an asset segment that consists of households with at least $1 million in financial wealth assets.
  2. Accumulator - an age segment that consists of households whose head is between the ages of 45 and 64.
  3. Advisor managed (AM) - programs where an individual IIROC advisor is a qualified portfolio manager with discretionary authority over client accounts. Advisor qualifications include either a CIM or a CFA, as well as certain experience and practice management requirements (e.g. a minimum number of years in business or an established track record managing assets on an advisory basis). Examples of AM programs include RBC Dominion Securities Private Investment Management and ScotiaMcLeod Managed Account Program.
