Insight March 2010 Monthly Update

Exchange-traded funds are the subject of the special research feature in the March issue of Investor Economics Insight. As always, our analysis looks at the burgeoning growth of ETFs from multiple vantage points. At the core of the research article is a fact-based measurement of where and how ETFs fit into the changing landscape of individual investing, wealth management and money management. The key observation, gleaned from newly gathered data, is that ETFs are truly ubiquitous in the Canadian marketplace—and must be seen as much more than a mutual fund alternative.
